The Saxon loafer is our high-end version of the traditional “rioplantense” slip on shoes known as “Alpargata”. A shoe Spaniards brought into the region when they arrived, long before we were even Uruguay as a country and that became very popular during the XIX century.

Some people say that to wear “alpargatas” is the closest to be barefoot…In this spirit we created this suede slip on version.

Fitting & Sizing

How do I know my size?
We developed our lasts meticulously and they fit true to size.

To minimize risks you can print the insole guide in actual size and measure against your foot. Remember to clear the "scale to fit” box on your printer settings.

For boots: Master James, Atacama, Bastian, and Wooster shoe/boots the last is British inspired so it is wider and has a higher instep. Download this insole size guide

Will my shoes stretch at all?
Yes. Keep in mind that leather shoes should be a little tight in the width as they do stretch and start molding to your feet within the first 3-5 wears. We recommend wearing socks while breaking in boots and shoes.

We use Fedex and DHL and you will receive a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number once your order has been shipped.

Exchange & Returns

To initiate an exchange or return process please send an email to costumerservice@capita.com.uy with the order number and explain your need.

We will process your request ASAP and will send the exchange / return printable label with the address. (U.S. / Uruguay / Europe).

In case it is an exchange a new pair will be made and shipped ASAP, and in case it is a return we will make a full refund to your credit card or PayPal account once we receive the products.

Please note that exchanges shipping is free but for returns the shipping cost is on the customer.
